  Physical Therapist

We are looking for hard working physical therapists that are able to get things done and are happiest when helping people. Ideal candidates would be those who have an intense desire to learn and help the organization through our expansion. We offer a unique mentorship program with the opportunity to work side by side with a McKenzie Diplomat and Certified MDT. We are the only Certified McKenzie Spine and Extremity Clinic in the Capital Region.

Maccio Physical Therapy is a physical therapist owned private practice located in Troy, New York. We have been a result-oriented clinic for the past 25 years. We have a very diverse patient population. The majority of our referrals are for evaluation and treatment of both general and complicated musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. We have excellent growth opportunities such as performance bonuses, 401K, profit sharing, medical and malpractice insurance which are paid by us. We do not work evenings or on weekends. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Contact us now to see if you or someone you know is qualified to join our team!

Resumes can be emailed to Joseph Maccio at jmaccio@macciophysicaltherapy.com or faxed to 518-273-0701.

  Student Clinicals

We are interested in expanding our student clinical education program. We would be most interested in intermediate and senior physical therapy students. We have recently completed the APTA updated clinical performance instrument. We are a busy outpatient clinic and the student will need to develop good time management skills and be willing to research a variety of diagnoses and treatment methods.

We are the only certified McKenzie spine and extremity clinic in the Capital Region. Students will have an opportunity to work with a McKenzie diplomat and a Certified MDT and be exposed to advanced clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment methods. Our clinicians have thousands of hours of advanced continuing education and we actively participate in both the national and statewide American Physical Therapy Association and McKenzie Institute conferences and activities. Joe is the Chairperson for the NYPTA Advisory Panel on reimbursement. He is also the Eastern District representative for the Alliance of Independent Physical Therapists, and a member of the Private Practice and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. We also perform vestibular evaluation and treatment techniques for BPPV as well as balance and falls prevention.
